Check dams have been built since ages for water storage and management.

This little check dam is located in the Nilgiris district of Tamilnadu, India.

A lesser known place but with a beautiful ambience around will definitely make your day.

Recently I got to visit this beautiful location unexpectedly.

This undiscovered paradise is located a bit away from the town and is at the outskirts of the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.

This place also has many tribal habitats who still follow eco-friendly practices for their living. Widely scattered dwellings and lush green fields around them add in as feathers on cap.

I also got to meet an old man, who was very friendly and gave me some wild berries that were super tasty.

The love and the hospitality that people there show will make you remember that world is not about people who disappoint and rush with life but also of people who spread love with no expectations.
